GEMS Software and Service Pricing

Summit has developed the GEMS platform to streamline the analysis and visualization of environmental data. The GEMS tool is as much a service provided by our company as a piece of software. We are available to provide data management services on projects of any size. For some users, our involvement may be very limited as the tool was developed for the lay person to utilize common computer software programs (e.g. Microsoft® Access® and ArcView®). For those without internal GIS or database capabilities, we are happy to provide estimates for putting GEMS on your desktop for you.

Summit is available to enter, format, and QA/QC data into GEMS as well as to provide professional analytical assessments.

Our pricing reflects our vision of improving the quality and efficiency of environmental data management. Our product costs less than half that of other leading EMIS software. An initial investment buys a one-year license for individual or network versions.The yearly subscription fee buys an additional year of maintenance which allows the purchaser six hours of installation and trouble shooting support as well as access to all software updates for that year.

Summit has found that it is more efficient for the client (in terms of time and money associated with ramp-up time) to work with us on your first project. As this is commonly requested of us by our clients, we have bundled the following services into an optional package:

• 8 hours of project setup (data import, standardization, and qa/qc);
• 8 hours of training your personnel to work with GEMS on their project;
• 5 hours of continued tech support

Technical Support/ Interface Customization
